Stitchshed is my business. I have run my part-time business for ten years as well as working part-time . This type of working gives me flexibility to be with my hubby who is semi-retired and a little older than me!
Stitchshed is the sign displayed above the door of my Stitchshed and where it all happens.
What goes on in the stitchshed
- Sewing, quilting and designing
- Teaching quilting in groups or on a one to one basis
- Quilting commissions
- Free-motion Longarm quilting
I set up my first sewing group in January 2014 which enables ladies to sit and sew together away from the hustle and bustle of family life. We sew our own projects as well as chat, exchange ideas, update each other on new techniques and, most importantly, support each other in our sewing endevours. There is a small charge to cover the costs of electricity etc.
