Catching up
The wedding has been and gone - it was a fabulous day with lots of sunshine but very cold - the dresses, cake and cravats were winners, if I say so myself! I have been away for ten days in the caravan to Bridgenorth and then on to Norfolk for a dance festival over the easter holidays. A wonderful time; walking, dancing and knitting. I finished a long line cardigan I had been knitting since last year so at least I achieved something. I took hand quilting with me but I didn't get round to picking up a needle and thread. Now its back to work and the normal routine. I will post some pictures of the wedding and three of the four quilts I have finished so far this year before the end of the week.
When I was in away in Bridgenorth I visited the Ironbridge museum and guess what I found some cotton fabric for sale in Phillips' Haberdashers so, of course, I had to purchase some, especially as the shop was a namesake.
